Here is something really different for a keen collector - a three volume set, each signed by the author, of beautifully illustrated and highly detailed accounts of every claimed sighting of the iconic and thought long extinct New Zealand iconic bird, from the pre-European period up until the alleged sighting by Paddy Freaney and companions of a moa in the Arthurs Pass area in 1993.
As Dennis Dutton, Prof. of Philosophy at University of Canterbury says in his foreword.... "It is a tantalizing possbility: that in some remote and inaccesible area of New Zealand moa had survived human depredation, living on into the nineteenth and perhaps even the twentieth century."
Signed by the author on each title page, these are thick heavy books, measuring 245mmx175mm. Hard cover, dust jackets.

Orders are processed within one working day of the order being placed. Once processed, our standard delivery times are between 3-5 working days (within the Auckland region). Rural deliveries may take an additional 1–2 days.
