Geographic isolation dating back hundreds of thousands of years has created our unique and frankly bizarre wild life! And then idiot humans arrived with all manner of pets and pests!
Thankfully, we have a legacy of special people stepping forward, since early last century, to champion the cause to save what we have left.
This is a really important collectors item for those passionate about our environment.
Beautifully illustrated descriptive guide to New Zealand birds, published by the Society established in the 1930's to advocate for much better protection of our unique and rapidly disappearing wildlife.
