Dead Water, written in 1964, Marsh's 23rd book to feature Metropolitan Police Chief Superintendent Roderick Alleyn, set at a "Pixie Falls," which is believed by some to have miraculous healing properties. This belief has led to a thriving but, in the view of some, tacky tourist industry in the otherwise quiet village of Portcarrow.

First UK edition published by The Crime Club, by Collins.

A rare signed copy, dust jacket worn, minor cover fade,  but overall the book remains in VG overall condition for its age.  Sound and tidy.
