This isn't my normal thing by any stretch but these are a real classic and rare set and deserve a new home!
The Adventures of Philip on His Way Through the World is the final completed novel by the English author William Makepeace Thackeray, first published in 1862. The novel follows the story of Philip Firmin, a young man from a middle-class background, as he navigates Victorian society, its class system, and the challenges of love and fortune. The book uses satire and wit to explore themes of social status, morality, and the complexities of relationships, and it features characters and elements from Thackeray's earlier works.
Published in three cloth hard cover volumes by Smith, Elder and Co London, 1862.
All three volumes are in G+ condition. Some loose sheets, covers worn and faded but original, some foxing. Ex Williams's English and Foreign Library Cheltenham.

Orders are processed within one working day of the order being placed. Once processed, our standard delivery times are between 3-5 working days (within the Auckland region). Rural deliveries may take an additional 1–2 days.
