The author spent six years at war and this great book tells the daring stories, including his own account, of the low-level bomber strikes by brave R.A.F pilots in WWII.
It covers the history from early 'rover' attacks by lone bombers, to mass assaults with torpedo and rocket bomber squads later in the war. Numerous b&w photographic plates.
